About the Author

Dr. Ame Cutler is a transdisciplinary trauma theorist, regenerative strategist, and spiritual practitioner who refuses to separate healing from history—or transformation from accountability. She is the creator of the Regeneration Process Method and founder of the Transgenerational Regeneration Institute, a community-based platform for dismantling inherited systems of harm and restoring Ancestral, ecological, and relational integrity.

With a Ph.D. in Humanistic and Transpersonal Psychology, Dr. Cutler’s academic and practical work interrogates the cultural and psychological impacts of colonization, white supremacy, transgenerational trauma, and systemic oppression. Her scholarship is not theoretical—it’s embodied. Born into a white Anglo-Saxon Protestant lineage shaped by overwork, erasure, and inherited privilege, she has spent her life reclaiming what capitalism, Christianity, and settler logic tried to strip away: belonging, integrity, and Ancestral responsibility.

Cutler specializes in the legacies of harm passed through both survivors and perpetrators. Her work illuminates how the very systems that create trauma—imperialism, extraction, racial capitalism—also dictate the terms of what healing is “allowed” to look like. She challenges the hyper-individualized models of Western psychotherapy and the depoliticized spiritual bypassing of the wellness industry. Instead, she offers a path grounded in somatic integrity, Ancestral listening, ecological repair, and systemic dismantling.

Her authority comes not from mainstream platforms or bestselling blurbs—but from hard-won experience. She taught trauma therapy internationally for decades, traveling nonstop while her body quietly broke under the weight of inherited overdrive. Her voice failed. Her bones fractured. Her spirit unraveled. And in the wreckage, her Ancestors spoke—reminding her of the promise she made as a young woman: to walk a path of repair. To build a method that not only healed the self but liberated the lineage, restored the land, and dismantled the lie that healing is personal.

The Regeneration Process Method is the result of that promise. A six-phase framework—Commitment, Deconstruction, Illumination, Transformation, Expansion, and Regeneration—it guides readers beyond sustainability or self-soothing toward actual systemic change. It is not a gentle journey. It is an unflinching confrontation with the stories we inherited and the systems we maintain. It is a map for becoming more human in a world designed to numb, disconnect, and destroy.

Dr. Cutler’s voice is clear: If healing doesn’t center justice, it’s not healing. If transformation doesn’t demand material change, it’s performance. And if regeneration doesn’t include the planet, the past, and the people still excluded from power—it’s just rebranding.

This book, like its author, offers no easy redemption. What it offers is something harder and more necessary: a path back to right-relationship.
